Release

October 2026

Rehearsal scored against your last campaign, email builder checks and shortcuts, domain ownership and safer sending, automatic account protection, transactional limits, plus email design for product teams, signup forms, branded tracking links, two-factor sign-in, usage alerts, controls for team invites and API keys, clearer open tracking, site tracking that waits for consent and an unsubscribe endpoint in the API.

Mailnaptic is on Zapier

Connect Mailnaptic to thousands of apps without code. Add contacts from forms, spreadsheets and leads, tag them or move them between lists, and send a Slack message when someone signs up, unsubscribes or a campaign goes out.

A page for each domain

Every sending domain now has its own page with a menu: overview, DNS records, warm-up, reputation, Google Postmaster, DMARC, BIMI, tracking and links, unsubscribe page, brand kit and Mailnaptic AI. The domain list is a compact overview with icon buttons to manage, check DNS and delete.

Google Postmaster for each domain

See how Gmail sees a domain on its own page: the user-reported spam rate against Google's limits, SPF, DKIM, DMARC and TLS pass rates, a trend and recommendations for that domain. Connect your Google account once. Pro and above.

An unsubscribe page and brand kit for each domain

If you send for more than one brand, each sending domain can have its own unsubscribe page and its own brand kit, with its own logo, wording, colors and button. Anything left empty uses the account default, and automation emails follow the domain they are sent from.

Organization settings, one section at a time

The organization page now has a menu with team, access, contacts, subscribers, sending and appearance sections, instead of one long page. Buttons and icons across the app also have tooltips, and pages show a loading state while they fetch data.

Connect Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants

Mailnaptic now has an MCP server, so assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, Codex and Cursor can look at your campaigns, results, lists, contacts, automations, domains and store revenue. Connect with one click and choose Read only or Read and write. With write access an assistant can add contacts, create campaign drafts, send test emails and schedule or send campaigns, but sending needs an explicit confirmation, and it can never delete anything or change domains, webhooks or account settings. Each connection is an API key you can revoke. Available on Growth and above.

Shopify app: billing, embedded page and sync

Install Mailnaptic from Shopify and your store connects on its own. The app opens inside the Shopify admin and shows whether your store is connected, how many products and orders have synced and which plan you are on, with buttons to open Mailnaptic, see plans and get help. You can pay for a plan, extra seats and AI credit packs through your Shopify bill, and a failed first sync now says so and can be run again with one click.

Automation templates that work out of the box

Premade automation templates now carry over properly: delays, yes and no branches and tags all work, and Abandoned Cart Recovery stops as soon as the cart is recovered. Every template email comes with starter copy to edit, and the builder warns when a rule uses a field it does not support. The Double Opt-in template is gone, because signup forms already have double opt-in built in.

Scheduling and reports in your own time zone

A campaign scheduled for 08:00 now goes out at 08:00 in your time zone, and the reschedule dialog can send at that time in each contact's own time zone. Scheduled report emails now include your campaign data, come from your @mailnaptic.com address and have a clearer subject. Anomaly alerts no longer fire when a rate has not really changed, recent campaigns on the dashboard are ordered by send date, and form fields no longer zoom in on phones.

Scanner clicks no longer inflate your click rate

Mail-security scanners that follow every link in an email are now recognised and left out of click counts, engagement scores, automations and webhooks. A click counts as automatic when it comes from a known scanner, from a cloud or hosting data centre, within seconds of sending, or as a burst across several links. Stylesheet links such as Google Fonts are no longer tracked as clicks. New organizations start with bot click filtering on. In the contacts API, status=unsubscribed now finds unsubscribed contacts, each contact carries suppression_reason, and per_page works like page_size.

Rehearsal scored against your last campaign

Digital twin rehearsal now works like a real inbox: each twin first decides whether to open from the sender, subject and preheader, then reads the email. Results are weighted by how much of your audience each group represents and scored against what your last campaign really achieved, with a confidence rating that says how far to trust them. Twins also see your buttons and images, and judge the send time in their own time of day.

Email builder checks and shortcuts

A live Issues list flags images without alt text, buttons without a link, button text that is hard to read and weak subject lines, and the pre-send checklist blocks broken buttons. Add a block below the selected one, and use keyboard shortcuts for bold, italic, links, duplicate and move. Test emails can go to your team and a few other addresses a day.

Domain ownership and safer sending

New sending domains are verified with an ownership record in DNS, so only the account that owns a domain can send from it. Every campaign, test email and automation must send from a verified domain. A contact import records that you have a legal basis to email the contacts, and unsubscribed or bounced contacts are never added back by an import or an API call.

Automatic account protection

New accounts are reviewed before they can send. An account with a high bounce rate or several spam complaints is paused automatically, and its owner cannot lift the pause, so a problem sender cannot keep sending. That keeps sending reputation healthy for everyone.

Transactional limits and automatic mailing address

Transactional email now counts toward your plan's sending limit and has per-recipient and daily limits. Addresses that complained or hard bounced are never sent to, even when you ask to bypass suppression. Your mailing address is added to the footer of campaign and automation emails when it is not already there, and automation emails get the same spam check as campaigns.

Email design for product teams

Build product emails from sections, feature cards, icon lists, changelog items, testimonials and app store badges. Save your logo, colours, fonts and button style once in an email brand kit. The editor and the API now render with the same code, so emails created through the API are ready to send, with a finished preview in desktop, mobile and dark mode, Outlook-safe buttons and fallbacks such as first name or "there".

Signup forms and popups

Build inline forms and popups in the app, embed them with one script and collect signups with consent recorded. Double opt-in is on by default. Forms are on Starter and above, popups on Growth and above.

Two-factor sign-in

Turn on two-factor authentication under Security in the app. Sign in with a code from any authenticator app, and keep one-time recovery codes in case you lose your device.

Top products from order lines

Order lines are now linked to your products and variants, so bestsellers, top products and segments built on purchases use the right product.

Usage alerts and payment reminders

The app now shows a banner and sends an email as you approach your plan's sending limit. If a payment fails, you get reminders until it is resolved.

WordPress plugin 1.3.0

The plugin adds a [mailnaptic_form] shortcode and a signup form block for inline forms and popups. Both work without WooCommerce and without an API key.

WordPress plugin 1.3.5

Website tracking without WooCommerce or an API key: paste the site key into the plugin and it adds the tracking snippet itself. Cookie consent for tracking can follow your iubenda banner, and administrators get a notice if iubenda cannot ask visitors for statistics consent.

Site tracking waits for consent

The tracking script now sends nothing until the visitor has agreed to statistics. It reads the choice from iubenda, Cookiebot, OneTrust, IAB TCF and Google Consent Mode v2, and removes its cookies when a visitor withdraws.

Open tracking separates automatic opens

Opens are now labeled human, Apple Mail Privacy Protection, Gmail proxy or security scanner. Campaign totals and open rates are unchanged, but engagement scores, open-based segments and some automation triggers ignore automatic opens by default. Owners and admins can opt back in.

Emailed team invites

Inviting a teammate now sends them an email. Owners and admins can see pending invites, resend them or revoke them, and copying the invite link still works.

Webhook replay and event ids

Every webhook payload now has an id, which is also sent as the X-Webhook-Id header and reused by retries and replays. On plans with webhooks you can replay a delivery from the app. Transactional email now produces delivered, bounced and complained events.

Unsubscribe a contact through the API

POST /contacts/{id}/unsubscribe unsubscribes a contact and records it in the audit log. Setting the status of many contacts at once now checks the value you send.

API key expiry and rate limits

New API keys can expire after a set number of days and can carry their own per-minute rate limit. Expired keys are rejected and show an expired badge in the app. Existing keys are unchanged.

A wider audit log

The audit log now records invites, sending domain changes, plan and billing changes, webhook replays and the open tracking setting. The audit log is on the Business plan.

One shared segment builder

Creating a segment and editing one now use the same rule builder, with grouped fields, checks on each rule, AND and OR, a limit of 10 rules and a warning before you leave with unsaved changes.

Help center and API docs updates

Six help articles were added or updated, covering signup forms, open tracking, webhooks, API keys, the audit log and the segment builder. The API docs have a new signup forms section.

Faster app load

The login page now downloads about 40 percent less JavaScript, measured on the build output. We have not measured real page load times.

Plan limits apply to some of these features. See the Pricing page for what each plan includes.
