Site tracking
See what people do on your site after they click.
Add one snippet to your website. Mailnaptic records page views and custom events, matches visitors to contacts it already knows, and puts it all on the contact timeline.
Site tracking is on Growth and above. Web-event triggers need Pro.

Paste the snippet, watch the status change
Open the Domains page. Each domain shows the tracking snippet and its own status. The site key is the same for your whole account. Paste the snippet into the head of your site, or add it through Google Tag Manager. On WordPress you can skip the snippet: paste the site key into the Mailnaptic plugin and it adds the tracking for you.
Status shows "No data yet" until the first event arrives, then "Receiving data"
See the time of the last event and how many came in over 30 days
Regenerate the site key whenever you want. The old key stops working at once.
Nothing is sent until the visitor has agreed to statistics. Mailnaptic reads the choice from your cookie banner.

What gets recorded
Three kinds of signal
Page views
Which pages a visitor opened. Known contacts get the page view on their timeline.
Custom events
Anything you choose to name, such as Added to cart. Top events show on your dashboard.
About analytics
Identified visitors
When a visitor is matched to a contact, their web activity is attached to that person.
About segmentation
How it works
Set up in three steps
01
Add the snippet
Copy it from the Domains page into your site head or Google Tag Manager.
02
Check the status
When the domain shows Receiving data, events are coming in. The dashboard lists page views, events, visitors and identified visitors.
03
Use it in a flow
On the Pro plan, add a Site event trigger so a page view or custom event starts an automation.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Which plan includes site tracking?
Growth and above. The Site event automation trigger needs Pro.
Where is the snippet?
On the Domains page. Each domain shows the snippet and a status that shows whether data is arriving. The site key is the same for your whole account.
Can I track my own events?
Yes. Custom events appear on the contact timeline and in the top events list on the dashboard.
Does site tracking respect my cookie banner?
Yes. Nothing is sent, and no identifier cookie is set, until the visitor has agreed to statistics. Mailnaptic reads the choice from iubenda, Cookiebot, OneTrust and IAB TCF banners, and from Google Consent Mode v2 (analytics_storage), which many other banners send. If the visitor refuses or withdraws, nothing more is sent and the identifier cookies are removed. A banner that does none of this can call Mailnaptic.grantConsent() when the visitor accepts and Mailnaptic.denyConsent() when they refuse.
Can I install it without editing my theme?
On WordPress, yes. The Mailnaptic plugin adds the snippet for you. Paste the site key from the Domains page into the plugin settings, with or without WooCommerce, and choose how consent is handled. If you use an optimisation plugin, exclude api.mailnaptic.com/tracking-script.js from minify, combine and delay JavaScript. The Mailnaptic plugin does this for WP Rocket.
What if my site key leaks?
Regenerate it on the Domains page. The old key stops working immediately, so update the snippet on your site afterwards.
Connect your site to your email
Add the snippet, wait for the first event, then build a flow on it.
